Who We Are:
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Housing Opportunity Fund strives to make Pittsburgh a more diverse, vibrant city that is affordable to all. The Housing Stabilization Program (HSP) is a housing crisis intervention program that provides one-time or short-term (up to 3 months) financial assistance to households who are facing a temporary, non-recurring housing crisis.
The Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Program (DPCCAP) provides financial assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers in the City who are interested in purchasing an existing or newly constructed residential unit.
The Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP) and Homeowner Assistance Program PLUS provide up to $30,000 in financial assistance to eligible homeowners for rehabilitating and improving residential owner-occupied properties within the City of Pittsburgh.
The Home Accessibility Program for Independence (HAPI) is a grant program to assist homeowners with permanent disabilities to make accessibility modifications for their homes. The Legal Assistance Program (LAP) provides a variety of free housing legal services to eligible tenants and homeowners who live in the City of Pittsburgh.
