Who We Are:
Sisters Place is a social justice-oriented organization seeking to prevent and respond to homelessness. We provide anti-oppressive, strength-based, trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and housing-first-informed services for individuals and families to break cycles of poverty and homelessness.
What We Do:
The organization provides the following help to single mothers and children: Access to Health Care Early Childhood Education and Development Discrimination Economic Stability Safe Space – Drop-in (resources and referrals) The Loft — Incentive-based program Employment Enrollment in Higher Education Food Insecurity Good Health and Well-Being Healthy Eating Patterns Housing Instability Sunrise Supportive Housing Program Language and Literacy Opportunity Zone Poverty Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions Quality of Housing Reduced Inequalities Work and Economic Growth
