Community Human Service is committed to enhancing people’s lives by empowering individuals and families. The organization provides a variety of services, including food, housing, child development, family support, and medical and monetary support. Family Foundations at CHS provides child development and family support to low-income families with children from birth to age three and pregnant mothers in the North Side and Hill District neighborhoods of Pittsburgh.

The organization provides the following help to single mothers and children: Family Foundations Early Head Start Food Pantry Housing Assistance Programs In-Home Services Residential Programs
