What Being A Strong Black Woman Doesn't Mean

I've seen too many black women use their strength as a cover. A cover of her brokenness. A cover for emptiness. A cover for a poverty. A cover for a lives that are still loading in a world that ask hyper-vigilance, overwork and perserverance of black women in the face of near extermination.But, we must realizing that rising to the demand of this occasion is NOT being strong.
