Positive Images of Black Boys

As a brown mommy of three boys, it is always refreshing to find black boys being recognized for doing great things. I found this article while surfing the net, and it was just refreshing to see one of our African-American males in a positive light. It seems this teenager from PA helped a family rescue their little girl from a would-be kidnapper.
Jocelyn Rojas, 5, was playing in her grandmother's front yard on Thursday afternoon when she was abducted by a man who promised her ice cream, according to authorities.

The neighbors and police quickly jumped into action, going to door-to-door and scouring the surrounding area for the missing child.
Temar Boggs, 15, and Chris Garcia heard the news and immediately jumped on their bikes to join in the search, even though they didn't know the girl or her family. "We got all of our friends to go look for her. We made our own little search party," Boggs told reporters.
The boys noticed a car that turned around at the top of a hill to avoid an area where several police officers were gathered. The driver then started quickly turning in and out of side streets. The teens chased the alleged kidnapper on their bikes for 15 grueling minutes."
Every time we'd go down the street, he'd turn back around, and then ... we'll follow him," Boggs said.
Finally, the driver stopped and let the little girl out of the car, before speeding away.
This story is like lemonade in 90 degree weather. Thank you Temar!
