My family and I will often find a series and read it together, discussing the various plot points and trying our best to guess what will happen next. The Others is definitely one of those versatile books that families with teens and young adults can enjoy together.

The story focuses on Ryen, an intelligent life being from a different plan who comes to Earth in search of finding a way to save his tortured planet. While in search of this savior, he meets an enigmatic young woman named Savannah. The two embark on a dangerous journey and fall in love the process. Ryen must make some tough decisions in matters of faith and love, that not only impact his fate, but also the fate of his world. The book is a real page turner and although it has Christian-based themes, it is universal enough for people of diverse backgrounds and belief systems to enjoy.
