Celebrate the 4th Brown Mama Style

I know it's raining all over the 'Burgh, but I will remain optimistic about this 4th of July week.  There will be plenty of activities happening all over the city and you might even meetup with a Mama there.

1. Just to start off with the obvious, the Three Rivers Regatta is going on.
2. If you want to do a little bit of travel (and I mean just a little bit) The Westmoreland Art & Heritage Festival is offering 4 days of fun beginning on July 4th in Greensburg.
3. If you wanna stay in the city, but still experience some culture try out the Celebrate Your Independents Activity on Walnut Street in Shadyside.
4. July 6 kicks-off Summer Fund Days at Frick Park which includes free art and lots of play.
5. Could you use a little mommy, daddy time.  The evening of July 3rd the Brillobox bar near PNC Park is hosting a Living in America concert hosting music from the African Diaspora.
